Getting Caught Up

Sorry for the long break between blogging. Every day, I find something to blog about, but when I get home I just don’t feel like writing. Now, I feel like writing. So….

  •  I tried to play in the church basketball league that I have played in for the past 4 years. Too bad all the teams are full. Well, my friend Kyle Simmons called me the same day I talked to the recreation director at church and asked me if I wanted to play in a men’s league with him in Covington. So, I am playing in a men’s league this year. Although I technically am not an “adult man” yet, I think I should be fine. My first game is Wednesday. I’ll be sure to let you know what happens.
  • I am going up to the University of Memphis tomorrow to find the whore that is my academic advisor. I hope that I can get my classes registered and I hope that I don’t cuss them out for not picking up one phone call in the past month.
  • I am officially pulling for the Packers to win the Super Bowl. I could dig a Patriots-Packers game. Favre will show Brady how it’s done.
  • I have been refereeing basketball the past two weekends and I am loving it! Although they are only 7 and 8 years old, they are good enough to run pick-and-rolls, give-and-go’s, and plenty of other plays. They don’t have overtimes, but they do have “free throw shootouts”. A game I did on Saturday went into a shootout, and man, it was INTENSE! The first team made 4 free throws out of their 12 players. The second team had made 4 free throws after everyone had shot, but they only had 11 players, so that meant one kid got to shoot twice. He stepped up for the last shot of the game and drained the free throw to win the game. I have never seen people so wild and crazy about 7 and 8 year olds.
  • I am home alone all week this week, since my mother is out of town. I am hoping that I don’t kill her psycho clingy little weiner dog for following me around everywhere, and I also hope I don’t starve, because I seem to just rather not eat than have to get up and make my own food.
  • I had a blast last week in Atlanta. Thanks Ms. Teri for letting me chill and for “letting me” keep your daughter up late at night playing Rock Band and watching movies.
  • This guy’s family is crazy when it comes to my game Rock Band!
  • The psycho clingy weiner dog has began a deep make-out session with the back of my computer.
  • On Tuesday, I will be two rows back watching this guy show the Grizzlies how to play basketball.
Anyways, that’s about all that’s going on… not too much I guess?

  1. It’s about time you saw the light in regards to the team God created.

  2. I am pulling for the packers because…

    1. Favre is soon to retire. He deserves to win before he goes out.
    2. Who else am I gonna pull for? New York or San diego? Boooooo that.
